The fourth Lore Event ran on a schedule from 18 September to 2 October 2026, with Sotharkuz, Rini, and Lore Fragments.

When it ran

Lore Event 2026 is the fourth Lore Event. It started on 18 September 2026 and was scheduled to end on 2 October 2026. Event items were described as temporary. After 2 October, check the menu before you farm a mission that may already be gone. Returning creatures and cosmetics from earlier Lore Events were obtainable again during this run.

Part 1 released Sotharkuz and a mission set. Tohukos also received a remodel that was not part of the event rewards. Part 2 released Rini, another mission, and more shop cosmetics. Astrothi received a remodel in that window. Part 3 added time and a bundle, not a new mission creature. During part 3, Hexink was added as a monthly mission reward and Hulghast as a limited-time mission reward.

Currency and the dangerous NPC

Lore Fragments are the event currency. A large Sotharkuz NPC wanders with a damaging aura. On PC, use 8, or the action wheel Calls menu, and choose Friendly. A successful friendly call makes it drop a Corrupted Splinter and marks it with a green arrow. Build one of three purification rituals at your den with that splinter.

Completed rituals pay some Lore Fragments and a temporary speed buff for 200 ticks. Earth Swiftness is plus 10 percent walk and sprint. Sky Swiftness is plus 10 percent fly speed. Sea Swiftness was still marked TBA in the event reference, so do not assume a swim number.

Robux Fragment packs were listed at 39 Robux for 150, 99 for 500, 299 for 1,800, 699 for 5,000, 999 for 8,000, and 1,999 for 18,000.

Mission sets

Each set has a 24-hour cooldown.

Dark Abomination pays 1 Sotharkuz species: speak to Rini, purify 3 Corrupted Splinters at your den, perform 3 friendly calls to Sotharkuz, locate 10 memory crystals, and donate at any Warden Shrine 3 times.

Repair the Sun Door pays 200 Lore Fragments: purify 1 splinter at your den, drink 100 water, eat 100 food, turn in 250 Harmony at a Warden Shrine, and survive 15 minutes.

Pack Purification pays 400 Lore Fragments and must be done in a pack: purify 3 splinters, drink 300, eat 300, donate once, and locate 5 memory crystals.

Rune Keeper pays 1 Rini species: speak with Rini again, purify 3 splinters at your den, collect 250 Harmony, turn that Harmony in, and locate 10 journal scraps.

Evade the Abomination paid 200 Fragments and was removed in part 2.

Memory crystals and journal scraps also unlock lore entries. The reference says 75 of each track are needed to finish that creature's entries. You do not need the entries to receive the species reward.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What should a new player do first?

Finish the Mylo tutorial, choose Kaluaka or Sochuri if you want a free omnivore, sniff for food and water, and complete one short loop before you fight. Open the creature card with K and learn that creature's diet.

Are there working Creatures of Sonaria codes?

The redeem window is in the menu, but no code was confirmed active in late September or early October 2026. COSYEAR5 and COSYEAR6 are expired. Treat any page that still calls them active as out of date.

How do I earn Shooms?

A living creature earns 5 Shooms every 2 minutes, which is 150 Shooms an hour if it never dies. Each completed region mission adds 4 Shooms. Shoom piles, some death rewards, and trades are other sources. Players often call Shooms mush because of the old beta name and chat filters.

When does Trade Realm unlock?

You need at least 10 owned species. Open Realms from the main menu. Trading does not work in the survival world. A species and a stored trial slot are different trade items.

What happens when my creature dies?

You return to the menu and can revive, restart, or delete the slot. Revive keeps age and mutations but not Death Points, and it costs a Revive Token. Restart wipes the slot. If you do not own the species, restart costs the male trial price, or ten times that for a female. Storage slots lock for two minutes after death.

What is Elder?

At age 100 you can choose to Elder. The age bar then counts toward 200 and turns purple. At 200 you can Venerate. A Max Growth Token sets age to 100 and cannot age a creature to 200.
